Aaron Pierre. In a new Complex interview, the singer described how Pierre’s calm and caring energy helps her feel secure. “You gotta handle me like a cup of tea,” she said. “He’s very, very gentle. It allows me to feel warm and safe, and not be in survival mode.”
Taylor and Pierre confirmed their romance in May 2025 through a short film tied to her upcoming album, Escape Room, which drops in August. The couple first sparked dating rumors earlier this year after attending events like the Vanity Fair Oscar Party together.
The new relationship follows Taylor’s highly publicized divorce from Iman Shumpert, finalized in July 2024. Legal tensions continued this year when Shumpert accused her of violating their divorce terms. Despite the drama, Taylor is focused on healing and her creative return with Escape Room, her first album since 2020.
