Milly Alcock, best known for her breakout role in House of the Dragon, is making waves in the DC Universe as the new Supergirl. With speculation swirling online, Alcock addressed rumors about a possible cameo in
James Gunn’s upcoming Superman film with
David Corenswet, set for release on July 11, 2025.
In a recent interview with Extra while promoting her new project Sirens, Alcock was tight-lipped about her involvement, telling fans, “I can’t speak on it…I don’t want to get sued!” She also revealed she had just wrapped filming on her solo DC movie, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, just days before the interview, calling the experience “a whirlwind, a crazy, wonderful life.”
Hints about Alcock’s appearance in Superman grew stronger when her name appeared on Max’s official cast list, and fans noticed a Kryptonian figure resembling Supergirl in the film’s first trailer. Although neither Alcock nor DC Studios have confirmed her role in “Superman, these clues have fueled theories across social media.
