Austin Butler’s 'Caught Stealing' Unveils New Poster Ahead of August Release

Austin Butler’s latest film ‘Caught Stealing’, directed by Darren Aronofsky, has unveiled a new poster ahead of its August 29, 2025 release.
Sony has released a new poster for Caught Stealing, the upcoming crime thriller starring Austin Butler and directed by
Darren Aronofsky. Based on the novel by Charlie Huston, the film is set in the East Village during the late 1990s and follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a former baseball player who’s pulled into a dangerous criminal world after an unexpected turn of events.
The poster arrives ahead of the film’s theatrical release on August 29, 2025, and follows footage shown at CinemaCon and CineEurope, where early scenes were screened for industry audiences.
Aronofsky described the project as a “romp, caper, [and] adventure” set during a time “when Y2K was the biggest threat.” The ensemble cast includes Zoë Kravitz,
Bad Bunny,
Regina King,
Matt Smith, and
Vincent D’Onofrio.
Caught Stealing is currently in post-production, with final edits underway ahead of its late-summer debut.
