The premature launch of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” was accompanied by problems, for which the creators and publisher apologize.

Although it was released on February 2, 2004, the early access launch of the cooperative game “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” within the deluxe edition did not go smoothly. Its developer, Rocksteady Studios had to shut down the game servers multiple times due to issues.

In response to these problems, the game’s publisher, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, decided to give owners of the deluxe edition a $20 in-game currency. This amount will be credited to players’ accounts. The developers have joined this apology by sending 2,000 LuthorCoins to players, which they can use to customize their characters in the game. They also express their gratitude for the players’ patience.

This shows that charging money for early access to the game while requiring players to connect to game servers may not be the best choice. The game “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X.
