Three mysterious videos alluding to new upcoming singles have left fans in awe. Zach Bryan may be creating his most “visual” album yet.

American singer-songwriter Zach BryanZach Bryan is building anticipation with teasers for a project called The American Underbelly. The rising country star he’s shared trailers for three unreleased songs—Punch Drunk Jersey, Fifty Four Years, and Rockaway—hinting at a larger, possibly visual, album.

Punch Drunk Jersey, marked as “Part one’a ten of The American Underbelly,” first appeared in July after Bryan’s MetLife shows. He posted lyrics—“Three punch drunk nights in New Jersey / Granddaddy worked a double til’ the day he died”—alongside a clip of a man at a bar railing against a “punch-drunk fighter,” underscored by raw instrumentals.

The Fifty Four Years trailer shifts to an older woman recalling her husband’s struggles with pneumonia, dementia, and drinking. Despite hardships, she lovingly remembers what first drew her to him. Their exchanged “I love yous” echo themes from Bryan’s American Heartbreak track Billy Stay.

In Rockaway, a woman phones from a New York balcony, reflecting on her move and her mother’s doubts. The clip blends present-day shots with Singin’ in the Rain-style street senes and quick cuts that feel fleeting. Teased in 2024 as Rockaway Beach, the song was once expected on Bryan’s January 2026 album With Heaven On Top.

Bryan’s captions suggest The American Underbelly may feature ten tracks, possibly born from his motorcycle trip earlier this year, originally tied to a project called Motorbreath with a Matthew McConaughey intro. The varied settings of the trailers imply each piece was filmed in different stops along the journey.
