After industry rumors of a label switch, Zach Bryan is sticking with Warner—and selling his catalog for a huge payout.

American singer-songwriter Zach BryanZach Bryan has officially renewed his contract with Warner Records, agreeing to produce at least two more albums with the label. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bryan finalized the deal over the weekend. His initial signing back in 2021 marked a turning point for the label, transforming its image from a quiet legacy brand into a powerhouse in modern country music.

Alongside this extension, Bryan is making headlines with the sale of his publishing catalog for a reported $350 million. The catalog is being purchased by a new company led by Cameron Strang, former chief of Warner Chappell and Warner Records, though no official comments have yet been made by either side.

Bryan’s unconventional approach, avoiding traditional Nashville paths and focusing on authentic, grassroots storytelling, has significantly influenced industry trends. His success encouraged labels beyond Nashville—like Warner—to pursue emerging country artists who resonate with Gen Z audiences.

Industry insiders also revealed that Universal Music Group attempted to sign Bryan, aiming to capitalize on its recent rebranding and expansion into country music. Ultimately, Bryan chose to remain at Warner, partly thanks to his strong relationship with executives Aaron Bay-Schuck and Tom Corson.
