Yungblud Teams Up With Florence Pugh For 'Zombie' Video Ahead of 'Idols' Album Release

Yungblud addresses body image and trauma on ‘Zombie,’ a new single off ‘Idols.’ Find the release date, video details, and production credits.
Yungblud has dropped a new single, Zombie, ahead of his double album Idols, due out June 20, 2025. The music video features
Florence Pugh as a healthcare worker dealing with exhaustion and grief, and the visuals have been front and center on Yungblud’s social media in the lead-up to release.
Zombie was first played live at Yungblud’s sold-out Scala show in London this March. The track tackles issues like body image, trauma, and the fear of becoming a burden, all drawn from Yungblud’s own experiences with body dysmorphia and family struggles. Matt Schwartz produced the single, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra adding orchestral parts.
The song follows Hello Heaven, Hello and Lovesick Lullaby, giving fans another look at what to expect from Idols, available for pre-order now. Yungblud describes the project as a “cultural reset” that moves away from chasing singles and leans into big, cinematic rock.
He’s set to headline his own Bludfest again in June, keeping ticket prices at £65, and will follow the album’s release with a world tour across the UK, Europe, and North America.
