Yungblud Reveals He Is Pansexual

Yungblud sends a powerful message to his fans: you are individual, and you are beautiful just by simply existing.
Yungblud doesn’t do labels — or maybe he does, if they let him slip through them. In a new interview with Attitude, the 27-year-old artist opens up about leaning fully into his pansexuality, saying he now feels “less insecure” about it.
“I am the pan man — I’m the f…king saucepan,” he says. “Because it’s the [label] that allows me to be who I am; it’s the one with the most room for manoeuvre.”
Known off-stage as Dominic Harrison, Yungblud has long pushed back against attempts to box him in. He’s been accused of queerbaiting, but he’s not having it. “I’ve f…ked everyone under the sun and that’s the vibe,” he told Paul C. Brunson on the We Need to Talk podcast. “I love love. And if it’s a vibe, it’s a vibe. Person’s a vibe, the person’s a vibe.”
It’s all part of the bigger thing he’s been building — not just an image, but a way of being. Fluid, messy, honest.
His headlining slot at Bludfest — set for 21 June 2025 at The National Bowl in Milton Keynes — is just another page in that ongoing manifesto.
Yungblud’s never really made a secret of his sexuality. Back in 2020, speaking to Hunger magazine, he recalled the moment it clicked: “I was just like with it all; ‘I’m pan, you know what I’m saying?’ It doesn’t matter what genitalia you’ve got or what you identify as. If I love you, I love you and that’s it.”
Still, it wasn’t always easy to get there. “That’s (something) I’ve struggled with my whole life, because I didn’t know what I was. I couldn’t quite put a label on it, then I learned about pansexuality from magazines and the internet.”
What he’s trying to do now goes beyond just a personal story. “What I want to encourage with my message is that no matter what you are, no matter how you want to express yourself, you are individual and you are beautiful just by simply existing.”
