Xolo Maridueña Set to Star in ‘Practical Magic 2’ With Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman
Xolo Maridueña joins Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in ‘Practical Magic 2’, set for release on September 18, 2026.
Xolo Maridueña has joined the cast of Practical Magic 2, the upcoming sequel to the 1998 fantasy film from Warner Bros, as reported by Deadline. Known for his roles in Cobra Kai and Blue Beetle, Maridueña is one of several new additions to the ensemble, which includes 
Joey King, 
Maisie Williams, 
Lee Pace, and 
Solly McLeod.
The film sees the return of 
Sandra Bullock and 
Nicole Kidman as the Owens sisters, along with 
Dianne Wiest and 
Stockard Channing, who reprise their roles as Aunt Jet and Aunt Franny. Joey King will play the daughter of Bullock’s character, Sally Owens.
Directed by Susanne Bier (Bird Box), with a script by Akiva Goldsman and Georgia Pritchett (Succession), Practical Magic 2 is currently in production. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on September 18, 2026. Plot and character details remain under wraps.
