Why Did Ava Max Cancel Her 2025 Tour? Here’s What We Know

Pop star Ava Max has postponed all tour dates ahead of her Don’t Click Play album, citing quality control and high standards for her performances.
Ava Max has canceled her entire 31-date world tour, originally scheduled for fall 2025, as she prepares to release her third album, Don’t Click Play, on August 22.
The pop star shared the news on July 3, explaining that she’s “pushing back” the tour to ensure her live show meets the standards both she and her fans expect. The tour would have brought her new music — including singles like Lost Your Faith, Lovin Myself, and Wet, Hot American Dream — to cities across North America and Europe, but all dates have now been removed from her website and Ticketmaster.
Max’s statement emphasized her commitment to quality, saying, “When I perform for you, it has to be of a standard that I’m happy with.” While some online fans speculated about ticket sales, no official reason beyond quality control was given.
