What's Wrong with Rico Nasty's Voice – Horrible Performance at Jimmy Kimmel Live

When we covered previous music releases by the genre-bending singer, we praised her vocal abilities a lot. But this time, we are stunned—and not in a good way.

When Rico Nasty performed Crash on a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, she was pretty much off-key for the entire performance.

Honestly, this was so devastating to watch that it cringed the hell out of us. What’s more bizarre is that most of the comments under the video are praising her vocal abilities.

It’s hard to explain this, as her live performance at the Tiny Desk Concert was actually amazing. So this can’t be an auto-tune dilemma after all.

We sincerely hope this was just one of those bad days for the artist, and that future performances will be far better, musically speaking.
