The Kid LAROI and Bailey Zimmerman Are Cooking Up a New Collab Single

A fairly unexpected and unusual collab is on the way. Here’s what we know so far.
Bailey Zimmerman and
The Kid LAROI have cooked something up, and it’s called Lost. What exactly it is—standalone single, album deep cut, or just a vibe caught on camera—is still hazy. But one thing’s clear: the boys were spotted together in Vegas, and it looked like something was being filmed. Bailey had a camera in hand. LAROI looked like he knew it.
The track—co-written by LAROI, plus songwriting heavyweights Rodney Clawson, Ryan Hurd, Michael Lotten, and Billy Walsh—recently surfaced on ASCAP. It’s officially registered. And while Zimmerman sings on it, oddly enough, his name’s not on the writing credits. Which, considering Zimmerman usually has a pen in his hand, raises a few eyebrows.
Lost is rumoured to land on Zimmerman’s upcoming album, Different Night Same Rodeo, out August 8. Not on LAROI’s long-teased WATCH THIS!, despite the collab. Go figure.
Both artists have made a habit of hopping genre fences—Zimmerman’s been in the booth with Diplo and The Jonas Brothers one week, then downshifting into country twang the next.
LAROI lives somewhere between SoundCloud emo-pop and mainstream pop radio. If Lost is anything like what their last few years have sounded like, it’ll probably end up as a Spotify-core cocktail of trap snares, acoustic riffs, and existential lyrics about a girl who ghosted them mid-tour.
