Taylor Russell Joins Michael B. Jordan in 'The Thomas Crown Affair' Reboot

Taylor Russell joins Michael B. Jordan in The Thomas Crown Affair reboot, set to begin filming in London this summer.
Taylor Russell has officially joined
Michael B. Jordan in the upcoming The Thomas Crown Affair reimagining from Amazon MGM Studios, as reported by Deadline. After a long casting process that included multiple auditions and a final screen test with Jordan in London earlier this year, Russell landed the lead role. She’s set to begin filming this summer, with production also taking place in London.
Jordan will direct, star in, and produce the film through his company, Outlier Society, alongside producer Elizabeth Raposo. The film is expected to release in theaters only.
This marks the third version of The Thomas Crown Affair, following the 1968 original and the 1999 remake. While plot details are still under wraps, Russell steps into a role that helped elevate actresses like Faye Dunaway and
Rene Russo in earlier versions.
Russell previously starred in Bones and All with Timothée Chalamet and broke out in Lost in Space and Waves. She’s represented by UTA and James Feldman.
