ScarLip Opens Up About Family Drama Over Money

ScarLip opened up about a tense relationship with a family member she says has shown nothing but ingratitude.
After finding success, the rapper says she regularly sent this relative as much as $2,000 at a time—support that was never acknowledged. Not even a message of congratulations came her way after dropping her latest project, Scarred B4 Fame.
To make things more bizarre, ScarLip revealed that the family member once invoked the Bible to ask for more money, telling her to “pay your tithes.” She didn’t name the person, choosing to keep that detail private.
Despite the disrespect, ScarLip said she tried to take the high road: “Start a business and I’ll fund it… or I pay for you to go to school…”
