Samara Weaving and Kathryn Newton’s 'Ready or Not 2' Wraps Production, Sets 2026 Premiere
“Ready or Not 2” has officially wrapped filming and is set for release on April 10, 2026, with Samara Weaving returning.
Production has just wrapped on Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, and the film is officially set to hit theaters on April 10, 2026. 
Samara Weaving returns as Grace, alongside 
Kathryn Newton and a cast that includes 
Sarah Michelle Gellar, 
Elijah Wood, 
Shawn Hatosy, 
Néstor Carbonell, 
Kevin Durand, 
Olivia Cheng, and 
David Cronenberg. Directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, as well as writers Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, return to lead the project, keeping much of the original creative team in place.
Filming took place in Toronto, and plot details are still being kept under wraps by the studio. The announcement follows the first film’s notable success in 2019, when Ready or Not grossed $28 million domestically on a $6 million budget. Searchlight Pictures confirmed this week that production has finished and the release date is now set.
With production complete and a premiere date now confirmed, Ready or Not 2 moves into post-production ahead of its 2026 theatrical debut.
