Cardi B, Lil Wayne, Polo G — ‘Let Me Fly’ brings big names and big numbers. Explore the full tracklist, who’s involved, and why fans are talking about that missing remix.

Rob49’s Let Me Fly album lands as his biggest project yet, dropping May 23, 2025, and packing 22 tracks, including three bonus songs. The New Orleans rapper spent two years putting this together, aiming for a project that feels intentional and true to his style. It’s his first full release since 4 God II nearly two years ago, and the tracklist shows off his reach, with features from Lil Wayne, Cardi B, American rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer Quavo (Quavious Keyate Marshall)Quavo, G Herbo, Polo G, American rapper Sexyy Red (Janae Nierah Wherry)Sexyy Red, Birdman, Meek Mill, Haitian-American singer-songwriter, and record producerFridayy, and HunxhoHunxho.

The album’s been teased as Rob49’s shot at building a real legacy, and you can hear the effort—from the viral WTHELLY single, which exploded on TikTok and even reached Madonna, Viola Davis, Tyrese Haliburton, and Justin Bieber (who made a remix- which didn’t arrive on the album, but Rob49 has hinted it could drop any day), to emotional tracks like Hear Me Momma, where Rob admits “I was in a dark place and wanted to kill myself.”

Rob49’s backstory — rising out of New Orleans’ 4th and 9th Wards, working at Subway (which motivated him to work hard at music because he didn’t want to work another job), and first going viral during the pandemic when he started making music for fun in the studio with his friends — still shapes his music. With Let Me Fly, he’s aiming higher, saying:

“This is just the beginning, there’s more on the way. I really locked in on this project and took my time to show who I am as an artist and where I’m headed”

Early reviews have already called it arguably the year’s best hip-hop album yet, and it’s clear Rob49 is set on taking things to the next level.
