Rachel Zegler earns Stage Debut Awards nod for ‘Evita’ at the Palladium, with winners announced September 28.

 American actress and singer Rachek ZeglerRachel Zegler, known for her roles in West Side Story and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, is stepping into the West End spotlight. The 24-year-old actor has been nominated for Best West End Debut Performer at The Stage Debut Awards for playing Eva Perón in Jamie Lloyd’s new production of Evita at the London Palladium.

Her performance has been drawing attention not just inside the theatre but outside too, where she sings Don’t Cry for Me Argentina from the Palladium balcony after every show. Fans have been gathering nightly to catch the moment, adding even more excitement to her run.
