American actress and singer Rachek ZeglerRachel Zegler is leaning into the internet love. The West Side Story star was recently spotted wearing a t-shirt that read “Please Don’t Disrespect My Danny,” referencing a viral moment involving her bodyguard. The quote comes from a fan video shared online last month, where Zegler defended Danny after a fan accused him of pushing during an autograph session. Calmly stepping in, she explained he was “just doing his job” and kindly asked, “Please don’t disrespect my Danny, okay?”

The phrase quickly became a meme, and during a recent Evita stage door appearance, a fan surprised Zegler with the now-iconic shirt. She thanked them, laughed with fans, and even wore the shirt in a group photo.

Zegler is currently starring as Eva Perón in the West End revival of Evita, which opened on July 1, 2025, and runs through September 6. Despite briefly exiting a show due to illness, she returned to the stage the next night.
