Rachel Sennott Teams Up with Aubrey Plaza for New Heidi Fleiss Film

Aubrey Plaza joins Rachel Sennott’s Heidi Fleiss biopic, with a cast that includes Elijah Wood and Moses Ingram.
Rachel Sennott’s upcoming biopic The Heidi Fleiss Story has cast
Aubrey Plaza in the lead role and added several new names to the ensemble, according to Variety. Co-written by Sennott, Leah Rachel, and Travis Jackson, the dark comedy centers on Heidi Fleiss in the tense days before her 1993 trial, following her attempts to manipulate her way out of legal trouble. Plaza will also produce the film.
Sennott, who plays Jaclyn, a young writer drawn into Fleiss’s orbit, is joined on screen by Lauren Holt,
Moses Ingram,
Elijah Wood, and
Josh Brener. Leah Rachel, creator of Netflix’s Chambers, is set to direct.
The project is produced by Pinky Promise, the team behind The Last Showgirl, with Plaza producing through her company Evil Hag. Production begins later this year in Los Angeles.
