Rachel Sennott’s Netflix Series 'Big Mistakes' Begins Filming August 2025

Rachel Sennott’s Netflix comedy ‘Big Mistakes’, co-created with Dan Levy, starts filming August 2025 with a star-packed cast.
Rachel Sennott’s next big move is official: filming for her new Netflix comedy series Big Mistakes kicks off on August 1, 2025. Co-created with
Dan Levy, who also stars, the show follows two siblings who get blackmailed into organized crime.
This marks the first Netflix project under Levy’s production deal with his company Not a Real Production Company. He’ll play one of the siblings alongside Taylor Ortega (Kim Possible, Ghosts), who Levy says “is going to become a household name.”
Comedy icon Laurie Metcalf (The Conners, The Big Bang Theory) will play their mother, adding serious credibility to the cast. The series will run for eight episodes, though Netflix hasn’t confirmed a release date yet. Filming is set to wrap in October, so fans can expect Big Mistakes to drop sometime in 2026.
