Olivia Dean Sets September Release for Second Album 'The Art of Loving'

Olivia Dean announced the release of her second album, The Art of Loving, out on September 26, 2025, via Capitol Records. The album follows her 2023 debut, Messy, which reached the UK Top 10 and earned positive reviews from publications such as NME and The Guardian. Dean says the new record looks at different kinds of love, from romance to friendship to self-acceptance.

The announcement comes with a new single, Nice To Each Other, which Dean describes as “a song about being present with someone and not overcomplicating things.” The music video, directed by Jake Erland, is notable for being shot in one take.

Dean is set to support Sam Fender on UK tour dates and will headline London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. She will also perform with Sabrina Carpenter at BST Hyde Park and head out on her sold-out Across The Atlantic tour in North America. More info and tour dates are at oliviadean.com.
