Olivia Cooke stars in Prime Video’s ‘The Girlfriend’, with its trailer out now ahead of the September 10 premiere.
Olivia Cooke appears in the newly released trailer for The Girlfriend, a Prime Video thriller premiering September 10. Based on Michelle Frances’ novel, the six-episode series follows Laura (
Robin Wright), whose successful life changes when her son Daniel (
Laurie Davidson) introduces his girlfriend Cherry, played by Cooke. Their first meeting leads Laura to suspect Cherry is hiding something, leaving the audience to question whether those fears are justified.
The Girlfriend is directed by Andrea Harkin and Wright and adapted for television by Naomi Sheldon and Gabbie Asher. The supporting cast includes
