Noah Kahan's Closing BottleRock Set Teases Upcoming Album

Kahan performed ‘The Great Divide’ and other new material at BottleRock, giving fans their clearest look yet at his upcoming album direction.
Noah Kahan closed out BottleRock 2025 with clear momentum building toward his next album. The Vermont singer-songwriter performed The Great Divide—a track he’s been developing live since 2024 and officially finished recording in February. The crowd knew every word, showing how his unreleased material is already connecting.
This marks Kahan’s first major performance since wrapping his Stick Season tour in July 2024. He’s been deliberately scaling back shows to focus on creating his follow-up album, which he officially announced during the set to massive crowd excitement.
Kahan has been crafting new material including Doors, Pain Is Cold Water, and other tracks exploring his Vermont childhood themes. He joked about milking Stick Season with multiple deluxe versions before getting serious about new music: “We’re actually releasing ‘Stick Season Forever Ever Ever Ever.’”
With limited 2025 tour dates including Glastonbury and BST Hyde Park, Kahan is clearly prioritizing studio time. The enthusiastic BottleRock response to his developing album tracks suggests his next chapter will resonate just as powerfully as Stick Season.
