New Ava Max Single 'Lovin Myself' Teases 'Don’t Click Play' Album Release

Ava Max channels personal growth in ‘Lovin Myself,’ the first single from her upcoming album, D’on’t Click Play’ set for release this summer.

American singer and songwriter Ava MaxAva Max recently released Lovin Myself, the lead single from her upcoming third studio album, Don’t Click Play, which is scheduled for release on August 22, 2025. The single was officially released on May 30, 2025, across major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.

Lovin Myself was written by Ava Max, along with producers Canadian record producer and songwriter Cirkut (Henry Russell Walter)Cirkut and Madison LoveMadison Love, who have previously collaborated with Max on her earlier hits such as Sweet but Psycho and Kings & Queens. The official music video premiered on YouTube on May 31, 2025, and was directed by Claire Arnold.

Ava Max has described Lovin Myself as one of her most personal songs to date. In a recent interview with Billboard, she stated:

“This song is about finally putting myself first and not letting outside voices define my worth. It’s the most honest I’ve been in my music for a while.”

Don’t Click Play is Ava Max’s third studio album, following her 2023 release Diamonds & Dancefloors.

Lovin Myself is currently available on all major streaming platforms. The full album, Don’t Click Play, is set for release on August 22, 2025.
