Role Model’s opening set for Gracie Abram’s Madison Square Garden debut, joining the singer-songwriter onstage for Sally, When the Wine Runs Out.
The playful cameo happened mid-show, with Portman, dancing alongside Role Model as part of his ongoing “Sally” tradition. At every tour stop, Pillsbury invites a guest onstage to play “Sally” — past participants included Jake Shane and 
Reneé Rapp, but Portman is the highest-profile guest yet.
The cameo quickly blew up on TikTok and Instagram, with fans sharing clips and Role Model himself posting “Sally Portman” on his Stories. The moment had an extra layer: Portman and Pillsbury are currently co-starring in 
Lena Dunham’s upcoming Netflix film Good Sex, now filming in New York.
