The series adapts John Grisham’s legal thriller, famously turned into a 1997 film starring Matt Damon. Callaghan takes on Damon’s former role of Rudy Baylor, a recent law school graduate who squares off against veteran attorney Leo Drummond while navigating personal tensions with his girlfriend, Sarah. With help from his boss Bruiser and her disheveled paralegal Deck, Rudy investigates two linked conspiracies involving a client’s son’s mysterious death.
