McKenna Grace Shares First Look at 'Regretting You'

McKenna Grace opens up about her role in ‘Regretting You’, sharing a first look at the Colleen Hoover adaptation ahead of its release.
McKenna Grace is stepping into one of her most emotionally layered roles yet in Regretting You, the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel. In a behind-the-scenes video from the Atlanta set, Grace gives fans an early look at the story, describing it as a mix of grief, family secrets, and first love—“typical Colleen Hoover novel stuff,” as she puts it.
Grace plays Clara, a teenager who discovers her father had been having a long-term affair with her aunt—just after both are killed in a car crash. While navigating that trauma, Clara also finds herself in a complicated romance, bringing even more tension to her relationship with her mother, played by Allison Williams.
“It’s kind of about us processing grief and also falling in love. A lot going on,” Grace says, adding that the film touches on how small decisions can shift entire lives. Regretting You hits theaters October 24.
