Mau P’s Tesla is out now via Insomniac Records, following its viral Coachella 2025 debut that lit up the Sahara Tent and TikTok feeds.

Mau P has officially dropped his new single Tesla on via Insomniac Records. The track first made waves at Coachella 2025, where Mau P premiered it in the Sahara Tent, sparking a viral moment as fan-shot clips spread across TikTok and Instagram. Its playful hook — “I just popped a Tesla, ain’t no need to charge” — nods to both electric cars and the act of popping a tesla-shaped pill to get the night rolling.

Calling it a “slinky thumper,” Mau P told Billboard he pushed for release despite initial industry doubt, crediting Coachella’s explosive crowd reaction for sealing the decision. The drop coincided with the launch of his Baddest Behaviour residency at Pacha Ibiza (running Wednesdays through October 8), featuring guests like Seth Troxler, LP Giobbi, and Hot Since 82.

With Tesla now a summer festival weapon, Mau P’s 2025 tour hits Creamfields, Portola, and iii Points, plus headline shows at Red Rocks and L.A. State Historic Park — cementing his status as one of house music’s fastest-rising names.
