Matt Cornett Wraps Indie Comedy 'Bad Counselors' with All-Star Cast

Matt Cornett wraps filming in North Carolina on ‘Bad Counselors’, a new indie comedy directed by Chris Dowling.
Matt Cornett has just wrapped filming on Bad Counselors, a new indie comedy directed by Chris Dowling (Where Hope Grows). The film follows two college fraternity brothers who pose as middle school camp counselors to complete court-ordered community service.
According to Deadline, Cornett stars alongside Ramon Reed (Incoming) and
Chris Klein (American Pie, Sweet Magnolias). The cast also includes
Missi Pyle,
Brec Bassinger,
McKaley Miller, and
Nathan Gamble. Filming took place in North Carolina and has now moved into post-production.
The script was written by Dexter Masland, Ryan Gunnarson, and Taylor Grabowsky. Production is backed by Loam Entertainment, Zero Gravity, and Narrow Gate Entertainment.
Cornett recently appeared in Hulu’s Summer of 69, directed by Jillian Bell. He is represented by Gersh, LBI Entertainment, and attorney Ben Walter. No release date for Bad Counselors has been announced yet.
