Maia Kealoha is joining the cast of Electric Bloom in an upcoming guest appearance on the Disney Branded Television series. The young star, known for her role in Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch, shared the news with fans via Instagram, where she posted a photo from set and wrote: “Electric News! I’m excited to share that I will be making a guest star appearance on Disney’s hottest new show Electric Bloom!”
Maia will play a character named Kaia in the music-driven comedy, which follows the rise of a fictional girl group from high school to global stardom. The series debuted on Disney Channel on July 10, and the first 13 episodes will arrive on Disney+ on September 17, followed by the rest on October 15.
Kealoha gave a shoutout to the show’s main cast—Ruby Marino, Carmen B. Sanchez, and Lumi Pollack—who play the members of the band. Fans can already stream a 4-song EP from the show online.
