Lucien Laviscount on Filming 'Emily in Paris' Season 5 and Meeting Lily Collins’ Baby

Lucien Laviscount is back on set with the Emily in Paris cast, filming Season 5 in Rome after a 16-month break. The reunion, he says, felt like coming home. “It’s like walking back into a barbecue at your family’s,” Laviscount told HELLO! in a new interview. “It feels perfect, it feels right.”

The actor, who plays Alfie in the Netflix hit, also reflected on co-star Lily Collins’ big life update—becoming a mother. Collins welcomed her daughter, Tove Jane McDowell, via surrogacy in January.

Laviscount, who has met the baby, shared: “She works harder than anyone I know, and she’s managing to balance everything out right. I’m just super, super happy for her.” He added that Lily still brings the same fun, protective energy to set, now with “a glow about her, even more so.”

Born in Lancashire and now working between London, Paris, and Rome, Laviscount stays grounded despite his rising profile. “I’ve got a social battery,” he said. “When that battery runs out, it’s out.”
