The album follows her 2024 breakout album This Wasn’t Meant for You Anyway, which featured the viral hit Messy.

Described as her “ode to self-sabotage,” the record explores themes of emotional escapism, nihilism, and vulnerability, co-written and produced with collaborators Manuka and SOLOMONOPHONIC (known for work with Doja Cat and American singer and songwriter SZA (Solána Imani Rowe)SZA).The lead single, One Thing, released in May 2025, has climbed into the UK Singles Chart Top 20, and a new single, Not Like That Anymore, drops tomorrow, billed as a defiant anthem.

The album’s tracklist includes songs like F.CK EVERYONE, SPIDERS, and Post Sex Clarity, blending bold lyricism with catchy production. Young has teased that the album balances light, sexy tracks with deeper, introspective ones.Young, a South London singer-songwriter, has had a whirlwind year, performing at Coachella, supporting Billie Eilish in Paris, and winning the Ivor Novello Rising Star Award in 2025. She’s also set for a Glastonbury debut in June 2025 and a North American headline tour in November and December.
