Logan Lerman and Molly Gordon's Chemistry Showcased in 'Oh, Hi!' Trailer

Logan Lerman stars as Isaac in Sony Pictures Classics’ upcoming romantic comedy Oh, Hi!, exploring modern dating and commitment issues. The newly released trailer shows his character delivering a familiar rejection line after cooking a multi-course scallop dinner and engaging in intimacy with his partner.

“I think you’re great. I’m just not really looking for a relationship right now,” Lerman’s Isaac tells Iris during what she believed was a couples’ getaway. This moment becomes the turning point when Iris, played by Molly Gordon, realizes they view their relationship differently.

Gordon, who co-wrote the script with director Sophie Brooks, describes her character as herself “five percent crazier.” She told Vanity Fair: “We don’t really get to be crazy. There’s just still not that many great female characters out there — the kind of wild characters usually played by men.”

The story unfolds during a countryside road trip that becomes what the trailer describes as “ground zero for a situationship hellscape.” Iris goes to extreme lengths to navigate the relationship crisis, enlisting help from her best friend, played by Geraldine Viswanathan, and the friend’s boyfriend, played by John Reynolds.

Oh, Hi! premiered at Sundance Film Festival in February 2025, was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics in March, and will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025.
