Lewis Pullman in Talks to Star in 'Spaceballs 2' With Father Bill Pullman
Lewis Pullman may join his dad Bill in Spaceballs 2, reuniting on screen for the sequel to the cult classic comedy.
Lewis Pullman, known for roles in Top Gun: Maverick and Lessons in Chemistry, is in talks to star alongside his father, 
Bill Pullman, in the highly anticipated Spaceballs sequel. Bill Pullman, who played the original film’s space cowboy Lone Starr, will reprise his iconic role from 
Mel Brooks’ 1987 cult classic.
The sequel, currently being developed by Amazon MGM Studios for a 2027 theatrical release, will be directed by Josh Greenbaum with a script co-written by Benji Samit, Dan Hernandez, and 
Josh Gad—who also stars. 
Keke Palmer joins the cast as Destiny, while Mel Brooks returns as Yogurt, and franchise legends 
Rick Moranis and 
Daphne Zuniga are expected back as well.
Lewis Pullman is set to play Starburst, the son of Lone Starr and Queen Vespa (Daphne Zuniga). While plot details are still under wraps, Amazon has teased the movie as a “Non-Prequel Non-Reboot Sequel Part Two with Reboot Elements.” For Pullman, who once tried to keep his career separate from his father’s legacy, this reunion is a meaningful chance to share the screen with his dad.
