Leo Woodall joins Rachel Weisz in Netflix’s ‘Vladimir’, an eight-part series based on Julia May Jonas’s novel.

Rachel Weisz in Vladimir, a new limited series coming to Netflix. The show is based on Julia May Jonas’s novel of the same name and has been ordered for eight episodes. Woodall plays the title character, a charismatic new colleague who becomes the focus of Weisz’s character’s growing obsession.
This is Woodall’s second leading role in a Netflix series adapted from a book. He previously starred in One Day (2024), which received strong reviews and attention for his performance. He’s also known for his role in season 2 of The White Lotus, as well as appearances in Vampire Academy (Peacock) and Prime Target (Apple TV+). His film credits include Cherry and Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.
Vladimir is being produced by 20th Television, with Jonas adapting her own novel for the screen. Weisz is also an executive producer. Other producers include Sharon Horgan, Stacy Greenberg, Kira Carstensen, Jason Winer, Jon Radler, Shari Springer Berman, and Robert Pulcini.
