LaKeith Stanfield Joins Star-Studded Cast of Taylor Sheridan’s 'F.A.S.T.'

LaKeith Stanfield joins Taylor Sheridan’s action thriller ‘F.A.S.T.’, set for an April 23, 2027 theatrical release.
LaKeith Stanfield has joined the cast of F.A.S.T., a new Warner Bros. action thriller written by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan. Directed by Sheridan’s longtime collaborator Ben Richardson, the film also stars
Brandon Sklenar,
Juliana Canfield,
Jason Clarke,
Sam Claflin, and
Trevante Rhodes.
According to THR, Sklenar plays a former special forces commando recruited by the DEA to take down CIA-protected drug dealers in his hometown. Sheridan originally wrote the script in the mid-2010s, with Chris Pratt once attached to star, but the project stalled due to budget issues before being revived for a major theatrical release.
Production begins later this month, with David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford producing alongside Sheridan and Jenny Wood. F.A.S.T. hits theaters April 23, 2027. Stanfield fans will also see him this fall in Shane Black’s Play Dirty, Lynne Ramsay’s Die, My Love, and Derek Cianfrance’s Roofman.
