Kristine Froseth Teases What’s Next in 'The Buccaneers' Season 2

Kristine Froseth drops the first trailer for ‘The Buccaneers’ Season 2, premiering June 18 on Apple TV+.
The Buccaneers actress Kristine Froseth, who plays Nan in the series, just shared the first trailer for the show’s upcoming second season on her Instagram, with the caption, “Proper society never stood a chance.”
Season 2 of The Buccaneers picks up right where the drama left off. Nan is now the Duchess of Tintagel but still stuck between her new marriage and her real feelings for Guy (Matthew Broome). Jinny (
Imogen Waterhouse) is on the run and pregnant, while Mabel (
Josie Totah) and Honoria (
Mia Threapleton) are navigating their own romance in a world that isn’t ready for them.
There’s a new face too—Leighton Meester joins the cast, rumored to play Nan’s real mom.
Alisha Boe,
Josh Dylan,
Aubri Ibrag,
Christina Hendricks, and
Simone Kirby are all returning, among others.
The show was renewed for a second season back in 2023, which was filmed in Scotland in May 2024. It will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 18, 2025.
