Send A Prayer My Way has been canceled following Julien Baker’s recent statement about her health.

Today, Baker announced via Instagram that she has decided to step back from touring to focus on her health, following recent personal developments. As a result, the upcoming dates for Send A Prayer My Way tour with Torres have been canceled. While the decision wasn’t made lightly, it was necessary. The support and understanding from fans remained strong.

The cancellation doesn’t just affect the headliners. Supporting acts—including Aisha Burns, Big Benny Bailey, and Ali Macofsky—will also no longer be performing.

This tour was meant to showcase the pair’s new album, featuring standout tracks like Sylvia and Bottom of a Bottle.

The country singer has previously taken breaks to prioritize her mental health. Known for both her solo work and as part of the indie supergroup boygenius, she’s been an outspoken advocate for transparency around mental health.

This time, though, the situation feels more unsettling. The tour was meant to celebrate a body of work that’s been in progress for the better part of a decade.

What’s more concerning is that there’s no clear information about what exactly is affecting Baker—whether it’s mental or physical. Whatever the case, we wish her a full and fast recovery.

Still, not all hope is lost. Some dates remain listed as active on the official tour website. Perhaps this is just a temporary pause—a much-needed break from the intense demands of touring, which often takes a toll on artists’ well-being.
