Julia Garner is stepping into horror with Weapons, the upcoming mystery-thriller from Barbarian director Zach Cregger. On July 21, New Line Cinema released a brand-new short from the film, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and a closer look at the cast in action. The video offers a glimpse at Garner’s role as Justine Gandy, a teacher whose students mysteriously vanish overnight—except for one.
The story follows a small town shaken by the simultaneous disappearance of an entire classroom of children. Garner stars alongside Josh Brolin, who plays Archer Graff, a father searching for answers, and
Alden Ehrenreich, who plays a police officer with a past connection to Justine. The cast also includes
Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, and
Benedict Wong.
Weapons arrives in U.S. theaters on August 8, 2025
