Julia Garner’s Silver Surfer Revealed in Final 'Fantastic Four: First Steps' Trailer

Julia Garner is stepping into the Marvel spotlight as the Silver Surfer in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and the final trailer just arrived. The trailer offers a quick look at Ralph Ineson as Galactus and hints at how he’ll try to consume Earth. One shot in particular features a huge machine in Paris — most likely one of Galactus’ Elemental Converters, which in the comics help him drain worlds of their energy.

Garner shared the trailer on her Instagram, and followers quickly jumped into the comments to hype up her Silver Surfer debut. Known for her award-winning performance in Ozark, she said that she chose this part because it was so different from her past roles and would introduce her to a whole new audience.

Garner plays the Shalla-Bal version of the Silver Surfer, which will be the character’s first live-action appearance. The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
