John Summit’s 'Silence' Remix Gets a Release After Festival Debuts

John Summit puts a 2025 spin on the Delerium classic Silence, out now via Tomorrowland Music and already climbing charts and playlists.
John Summit has dropped his official remix of Silence by Delerium featuring
Sarah McLachlan, released May 10, 2025, through Tomorrowland Music. First teased during his sold-out Madison Square Garden show in March, the remix has been trending across social media and destroying dancefloors ever since.
This version features McLachlan’s iconic vocals from the original along with Summit’s darker, high-energy tech house production. It leans into melodic house and trance territory, with pulsing basslines, rolling percussion, and a few big euphoric moments that hit hard in a live setting.
The track’s been a mainstay in Summit’s festival sets lately, including Ultra, Coachella, and Tomorrowland, with fan-shot clips going viral on TikTok and Instagram. It’s already landed in Spotify’s Mint and Dance Rising playlists, while climbing the Beatport charts within days of release.
Summit said he originally made the remix as a special edit for his MSG debut, and it quickly took on a life of its own.
The remix comes in two versions: a 4:13 radio edit and an extended 6:02 mix. It’s now streaming everywhere, with a visualizer video live on YouTube.
