Joe Keery Returns to Post Animal on New Track 'What’s A Good Life'

Joe Keery reunites with Post Animal for new album ‘IRON,’ featuring shared vocals and a new single, ‘What’s A Good Life.’
Joe Keery has reunited with his original band Post Animal for their upcoming album IRON, set to release on July 25, 2025. This marks the first time in over seven years that Keery—also known for his solo music as Djo—has worked on a full record with the group. The band teased the release with a new single, What’s A Good Life, which features all six members, including Keery, sharing lead vocals.
The song’s video also includes the Omaha Hell Hounds, a Nebraska-based armored combat team who hosted the band at their gym.
Keery co-wrote and co-produced IRON alongside the five other band members. The project was engineered by Dalton Allison and Charles Glanders, and mixed by Djo collaborator Adam Thein and Allison. Bandmate Jake Hirshland called the album a “revitalization” of both their sound and friendships.
