Jaz Sinclair Talks 'Gen V' Season 2 Tone and What’s Next for Marie Moreau

Jaz Sinclair teases a darker Season 2 of ‘Gen V’, while hinting at Marie’s future beyond college and more twists to come.
Jaz Sinclair is giving fans a preview of what to expect in Season 2 of Gen V, and things are getting heavier—but not without some balance. Speaking at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival, Sinclair shared that the next chapter of Prime Video’s The Boys spin-off will lean darker, especially early on. “The tone is a little bit darker, at least at the start,” she said, adding, “It’s still just as funny, and there’s love and stuff, but… we’re a little bit more jaded.”
Sinclair, who plays blood-manipulating supe Marie Moreau, also picked up the festival’s Golden Nymph Award for Most Promising Talent. In her speech and interviews, she praised the show’s bold writing. “I love the satire element of it. I love the political elements. I love that our show isn’t scared to touch on taboo things.”
Footage from Season 2 was recently previewed at CCXP México, teasing a secret program linked to Godolkin University and a looming human-vs-supe conflict. Sinclair hinted that Marie’s story could continue beyond college. “Eventually I’d like to leave college,” she said, “but there’s a lush landscape for us already set.”
Gen V Season 2 premieres September 17 on Prime Video.
