Jacob Tremblay to Portray Ted Kaczynski in Netflix’s 'Unabom'

Jacob Tremblay stars as Ted Kaczynski in Netflix’s ‘Unabom’, exploring the Unabomber’s path from prodigy to criminal.
Jacob Tremblay will star as Ted Kaczynski in Unabom, an upcoming Netflix thriller directed by Janus Metz. According to Deadline, the film traces Kaczynski’s path from a promising Harvard student to the notorious Unabomber, whose bombing campaign spanned from 1978 to 1995, resulting in three deaths and 23 injuries.
Russell Crowe is cast as Professor Henry Murray, who conducted psychological experiments on Kaczynski during his time at Harvard.
Shailene Woodley joins the film as FBI agent Joanne Miller, who leads the manhunt, with
Annabelle Wallis also in the cast.
Unabom was developed from a script by Sam Chalsen and Nelson Greaves, working alongside 2.0 Entertainment and MRC. Sophie Cassidy produces, with Don Lee, Chalsen, and Greaves as executive producers.
Tremblay’s recent credits include The Life of Chuck and the upcoming crime drama Sovereign. Unabom will explore the key events and people involved in the investigation of one of the most well-known domestic terrorism cases in the United States.
