Jack Quaid and Jessie T. Usher Say Goodbye as 'The Boys' Wraps Final Season

Jack Quaid and Jessie T. Usher reflect on wrapping The Boys after five seasons of chaos, blood, and big character arcs.
After five seasons, The Boys has officially wrapped, and two of its original stars—Jack Quaid and
Jessie T. Usher—have shared their goodbyes as filming on the final season comes to a close.
Quaid, who’s played Hughie Campbell since the start, recently told The Hollywood Reporter that saying goodbye is “emotional” and “bittersweet.” As of June 22, he still had a few shoot days left, but acknowledged how surreal it feels to part ways with a role and series that shaped his career. “This show has done everything for me,” he said, adding that he’s proud of how the story ends and that showrunner Eric Kripke got to wrap things up the way he intended.
Usher, known for playing A-Train, reflected on the end of the series in a recent Instagram post. He called the experience “absolutely unforgettable” and thanked the cast, crew, and fans who supported the show over the years. “About 8 years later, we’ve finally reached the finish line,” he wrote, adding that they wrapped the show with a “beautiful bloody bow.”
The Boys has been a major part of Amazon’s lineup since 2019. Now, with filming wrapped, fans are waiting to see how it all ends when the final season drops.
