Iris Apatow Joins 'Tell Me Lies' Season 3 Cast as Recurring Character Amanda

Iris Apatow joins ‘Tell Me Lies’ Season 3 as Amanda, a bubbly college freshman with a dark secret in Hulu’s hit drama series.
Iris Apatow, known for her work in Netflix’s popular series Unstable and Love, is joining Season 3 of Hulu’s hit drama Tell Me Lies. Deadline reports that Apatow will take on the recurring role of Amanda, described as a bubbly but emotionally fragile college freshman carrying a significant secret.
Tell Me Lies, adapted from Carola Lovering’s novel, follows a messy and complicated relationship between two central characters played by Grace Van Patten and
Jackson White. The series explores the impact their toxic connection has on a close-knit group of friends over eight years.
Apatow’s casting follows the recent addition of actor Costa D’Angelo to the series as a regular. Apart from television, Apatow will soon star in the action-thriller Ballerina Overdrive alongside
Lana Condor and
Maddie Ziegler. Her previous film credits include comedies like This Is 40 and The Bubble.
Tell Me Lies was renewed for a third season in December 2024. No release date has been announced.
