Gordon Cormier returns as Aang as Netflix’s ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ starts filming Season 3 with new cast members.

Canadian actor Gordon Cormier.Gordon Cormier, who plays Aang in Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, is returning for Season 3, which has officially started production. The announcement comes right after Season 2 wrapped, with Cormier and the rest of the main cast sharing the news in a video from the set.

Plot details for Season 3 haven’t been revealed yet, but the series continues to adapt the beloved Nickelodeon animated show, following Aang and his friends as they take on the Fire Nation.
