Gavin Adcock’s 'Own Worst Enemy' Debuts at No. 1 Amid Feuds

Adcock boosted his recent album ratings to new heights, topping the most influential chart.
Gavin Adcock just scored big with his album Own Worst Enemy, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Country Chart and topping the All-Genre streaming debut chart.
With over 25 million U.S. streams, it also hit No. 4 on the Country Chart and No. 14 on the Billboard 200.
The album more than doubles first-week streams of his last release, Actin’ Up Again, cementing his fast rise in country music.
This caps a huge year where he passed one billion global streams and collected multiple RIAA certifications, including PLATINUM for A Cigarette.
But Adcock’s rise hasn’t been drama-free. He recently took shots at Zach Bryan, accusing him of hiding behind a “mask” after disappointing a young fan, and dismissed
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter as “ain’t country music,” sparking backlash from
Charley Crockett.
Controversy aside, Adcock’s momentum is hard to ignore. He’s currently on his Need To Tour with upcoming stops in Richmond and Salem, Virginia, and Pikeville, Kentucky.
