Felix Mallard Shares How Harry Styles Called to Offer Him 'Happy Together' Role
Felix Mallard reveals Harry Styles called to tell him he landed ‘Happy Together’—surprising even his co-stars.
Felix Mallard, best known as Marcus on Ginny & Georgia, surprised fans and even his castmates by revealing he once got a life-changing call from 
Harry Styles.
During a BuzzFeed Celeb Cast Wars game celebrating the release of Ginny & Georgia Season 3, Felix shared that Harry Styles personally called to let him know he’d landed the lead role of Cooper in the sitcom Happy Together. The show was inspired by Styles’ own experience living with producer Ben Winston, with Styles also serving as a producer.
Felix explained, “It was a sitcom loosely inspired by a time when [Harry] lived in Ben Winston’s attic… and I think Ben said, ‘Harry, could you just call him and say…’” Felix recalled answering an unknown number, only to find Harry on the other end.
His story caught the cast—including 
Antonia Gentry, 
Brianne Howey, and 
Sara Waisglass—off guard, with Brianne calling the moment “so cool.”
