ERNEST Celebrates DeVille Records Launch with Free Show and Surprise Morgan Wallen Duet

ERNEST kicked off his DeVille Records era with a free Nashville concert and a surprise guest appearance from Morgan Wallen.
ERNEST hosted a free concert in Nashville to mark the launch of his new label, DeVille Records, giving fans a rare no-cost show at a time when ticket prices keep climbing. The event doubled as a celebration of his next career chapter and a thank-you to the fans who’ve been with him from the start.
The highlight of the night came when Morgan Wallen made a surprise appearance to perform Flower Shops—their fan-favorite duet that originally dropped after a 2021 parking lot party in Nashville. ERNEST recalled that first moment on stage, pointing out how surreal it felt to revisit the song now, with a packed crowd and a label of his own.
Wallen’s appearance was especially notable following his absence from the ACM Awards earlier in the week. At one point, the crowd even broke into an impromptu Happy Birthday singalong for Wallen, who turned 32 the next day.
The two also shared a moment of comic relief when ERNEST told the crowd Wallen had texted their group chat the night before, suggesting they “run stairs” together for his birthday. ERNEST admitted he left the message on read.
Throughout the night, ERNEST spoke directly to fans, shared stories about his journey, and spotlighted how Flower Shops helped shift his path from songwriter to solo artist. Now, with DeVille Records officially launched, ERNEST is stepping into a new role—still making hits, but also carving space for new voices to come up behind him.
